Enchanting decoration:

Jacques Ghré knew to how develop a warm atmosphere he enjoys. West Indies rythms , salsa and biguine, give the place a warm, latin ambiance.

Logo
:
A dynamic but nonetheless harmonious logo was created from his monogram on the entrance door and the shopwindows; it is also embroidered on the light microfiber gowns which are black with ivory edging for technical activities, black with Navy blue for styling and cutting.
The towels as well as the assistants' overalls are also carefully designed with ivory, Navy blue and black shades.
Jacques Ghré's 'JG' is divinely engraved in tablet sand glass in the working space and on the counter.

A space sized for and devoted to beauty
Jacques Ghré's salon is in both the most attractive area and the best shopping district in Marseille. Spread over 800 m2, it is the image of a top range salon.
The decoration is meeting a single architecture concept with soft ivory shades, clear wood, and a white beech floor all symbolic of JacquesGhré's philosophy. Whenever one enters Jacques Ghré's salon, one is on an elegant and refined stage served by charming, smiling personnel who seem to know everyone.

Relaxation corner

This seems to come straight out of Arthur Hemingway's books in Cuba: island wood sofas with soft cushions covered with light fabric; low forged iron table in the waiting corner; the plants decorating the salon with a dense foliage are particularly emphasised.

Hair styling and cutting corner

The same shades have been retained for the cutting and styling corner even if it looks slightly more contemporaray. Design lamp walls with soft, warm and subdued lights switch from white to natural and enhance the customers' beauty. The sand glass tablets take up transparencies and play hide and seek between lights and the engraved logo. The customers sit in comfortable armchairs with ivory and white monochromes.

Technical space

There again, beauty, a greeting spirit and comfort are emphasized. This space is in the back of the shop. The customers are comfortably welcomed in large pans in an atmosphere of trust and confidence

Beauty parlours

Finally, beauty, massage and body care parlours are a haven of peace in the salon. Subdued lights, soft colours and harmonies, materials give the place a divine look.
This soft atmosphere is simply broken by futuristic, very third millenium, screens showing in continuous alternance Thiery Mugler shows where some of the top models hair and make-up is supervised by Jacques Ghré as well as current ready-to-wear and haute-couture parades filmed in Milan, Paris, London or New York. Seven technicians, including 4 haitdressers formed by Jacques Ghré are attempting to make women look beautiful with a new appearance and self-confidence. Jacques Ghré is devoting a great deal of his time to training. Always atttracted by the best and avant-garde, he does not hesitate to fly regularly to Los Angeles, California, the mecca of cutting and styling techniques, to take in the new trends and technologies.

Top range additional services for his customers' well being

Jacques Ghré knows better than anyone else that time is priceless. This is why he decided to innovate services so that his customers take maximum advantage of a pleasurable moment when they are being spoiled while having their hair done. Cars are picked up from the shop to a parking space near by and one (1) hour free parking is offered. Beverages are regularly served while the customers are being looked after: Tea and cakes at 5:00 p.m; tasty and healthy lunches on the spot.
Exceptional events call for exceptional gestures and Jacques Ghré salon is opened on Sundays for his customers' best satisfactions. Normal opening hours are from 9:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Care

Jacques Ghré is offering face and body aesthetic care in two parlours, a high pressure UV parlour and shower. The customers can then fully enjoy their shiatsu massages, hair removal with honey and US nail tatoos.

Products

Jacques Ghré is working in close cooperation with the Californian hair care and beauty product company Sebastian for whom he is the sole "ELITE" agent in Marseille. Sebastian present two haircut and make-up collections every year.
Five hair product lines that go with a lifestyle and price range, a green tea face care line, a 'total indulgence' body care line including essential oils and natural extracts and four make-up trays: one for complexion, one for eyes, one for lips and one for nails are available in the salon. These products are used in the salon and can also be purchased by those customers wanting to follow the same beauty treatment at home. It must be noted that the Sebastian Laboratories were precursors as regards the use of silicone in hair poducts.

Hair cutting

Taking advantage of training courses in California, Jacques Ghré became a talented and innovative razor-cut precursor; in fact, he uses a razor whenever he wants to give a movement and life to any haircut. This is why conventional squares are gone and layers are more discrete, shapes are invented for straight hair while curly ones are disciplined. This razor-cutting talent is always carefully doubled by a technical one. Then, very fair sweeps are known as Californian and the most honey ones are Venitians.

Whenever a complete transformation is required, Jacques Ghré observes the customer, watches her move, speak and live, takes pictures and films up to the final suggestion documented with pictures so that a total look always completed with a hair cut is offered quietly and assuredly. Nothing is imposed and every decision is made in concertation
